Does having a banner to your website on several different websites increase search engine ranking?

I know that link exchanges help a website’s ranking in search engines like Google, but does a banner exchange do the same? Because isn’t a link to your website technically on a different website, counting as a linkback? Or, because the banners are constantly rotated with other websites’ banners, it doesn’t count?

It doesn’t help your ranking.

It does help the site that is advertising, especially if your site has a high PR.

Reciprocal links don’t do much for your site anymore.

If you want to increase your ranking fast, there is a step-by-step method I used to get my site to #1 on Google for a product I sell – and I can prove it.
